Welcome Wood County Rec MINI CHEERLEADERS! Mini Cheer is for Grades PreK to 8th and will take place with Small Fry Basketball games on Saturdays only, making it a great, low-stress way to get involved and show your team spirit! Cheerleaders will have a short 20 minute practice to learn simple cheers, then cheer during the basketball games while continuing to build their skills. Each participant will receive a shirt and bow, and can wear any comfortable bottoms, with tennis shoes. We’re always looking for volunteer coaches to help lead our young cheerleaders in a fun, easy-going program where everyone can learn together.
